            <description>    &lt;p&gt;OKAAAAAAAAY. &amp;#160;So my crackhead idea didn&amp;#39;t work out as I had planned. &amp;#160;HA!&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;This IS DEFINITELY an excuse but it&amp;#39;s also the TRUTH. &amp;#160;I worked for about 3 weeks STRAIGHT, ate like a pig and COMPLETELY ignored my workout plan. &amp;#160;As a result, I feel like shit and have gained 5 wonderful lbs back! &amp;#160;Yes, my first public failure! &amp;#160;It sucks, but I&amp;#39;m still MOVIN ON!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In the past month, I&amp;#39;ve come to realize how UNBALANCED my life has become! &amp;#160;I give more of my time and energy to WORK than my own health! &amp;#160;I don&amp;#39;t like that! Therefore, I am changing my goal to - BALANCING my life to create a healthier ME. &amp;#160;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;That said...I&amp;#39;ve committed to a more simple and realistic plan (sorry Dr. Phil!):&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Walking at least 30 minutes every morning with Bosko and Jay (they both promised =P)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Volleyball on Tuesdays&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Cardio Kickboxing on Thursdays&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Biking on Saturdays&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;NO skipping meals&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;NO more seconds&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div&gt;SIMPLE AS THAT...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Thanks, guys, for your continued support and believing in me! &amp;#160;I&amp;#39;ll update as often as I can.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&quot;clear:both;&quot;&gt;

            <description>    &lt;p&gt;Yikes, voxing is harder than I thought.&amp;#160; Just a quick update as I wait for my clothes to dry.&amp;#160; I&amp;#39;ve totally gone off my crackhead working plan...it&amp;#160;was really harder than it sounded..hahah&amp;#160; BUT..no worries..I am still exercising.&amp;#160; I average 4-5 days/week of working out.&amp;#160; For cardio I either walk about 3-4 miles or bike about 6-8 miles.&amp;#160; I play volleyball every Tuesday nights and Jay, Sheila, my dad &amp;amp; I also joined a bowling league on Sundays.&amp;#160; I also walk for 1/2 an hour during lunch every Tuesday &amp;amp; Thursday with a co-worker.&amp;#160; At this point, I figure ANYTHING is better than sitting on my BE-hind.&amp;#160; Can&amp;#39;t forget bike to work day this Thursday!&lt;/p&gt;

            <description>    &lt;p&gt;So Week 1 wasn&amp;#39;t so bad.&amp;#160; I wasn&amp;#39;t able to blog everyday&amp;#160;as planned but I will try my best this week to blog daily.&amp;#160; Although I was only able to exercise 4 out of the 7 days and I only ate &amp;quot;right&amp;quot; about 75% of the time, I actually feel really good about myself.&amp;#160; I lost 1lb and although I&amp;#39;m aiming to lose 2lb/week I know that if I stick to my plan I can!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since I didn&amp;#39;t do my 110% last week, I&amp;#39;m going to re-do my Week 1 exercise plan until I successfully do 7 of the 7 days and eat right 80% of the time.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;10:30AM - 4oz grapes&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;12PM - 1 Cutie (I&amp;#39;m trying to eat what we have left so they don&amp;#39;t get moldy)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;12:40PM - Grilled Chicken Sandwich from Kinder&amp;#39;s (ate the whole stinkin&amp;#39;&amp;#160;thing...I was starvin Marvin!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5PM - Leftovers from last night (beef teriyaki w/ rice)...sigh&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So today was a bummer for me.&amp;#160; Started the morning&amp;#160;not wanting to start the morning, no time to pack a lunch and it was all downhill from there - I was hungry all day..LOL.&amp;#160; Suprisingly, despite my (public) hunger, I did NOT go hunting for chocolate around the office...that deserves a pat on the back.&amp;#160; I&amp;#39;m sad about what I ate today so I&amp;#39;m going to walk Bosko and hopefully put my dusty stability ball to use.&amp;#160; Is it just me or do obese ppl look as funny as we feel on stability balls?!&amp;#160; hahaah....OH, the life of a TFG!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;Apple-style-span&quot; style=&quot;font-weight: bold;&quot;&gt;Updated 10:38PM&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;7:30PM - Walked 3 miles without Bosko (Man! &amp;#160;Everyone and their mom be walking/running at this time. &amp;#160;I felt like I was racing hella Bombays..LOL) &amp;#160;Also did abdominal exercises with the stability ball...I learned I&amp;#39;m not very stable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m currently reading 2 books - &amp;quot;The Ultimate Weight Loss Solution&amp;quot; by Dr. Phil and &amp;quot;The Ultimate Body Book&amp;quot; by Shape Magazine. &amp;#160;Geez, I never noticed this...but I guess I should be in &amp;quot;Ultimate&amp;quot; shape after I finish these books. &amp;#160;Dr. Phil&amp;#39;s book is THE best book I&amp;#39;ve ever read on managing weight loss. &amp;#160;It&amp;#39;s giving me a different way to approach weight loss..mentally! &amp;#160;The book is about weight loss but can totally apply to LIFE in general. &amp;#160;It&amp;#39;s like I&amp;#39;m talking to a psychiatrist everyday! &amp;#160;The Shape book is giving me more direction as far as exercising and I need that (I&amp;#39;m a lost pup after cardio). &amp;#160;So far I&amp;#39;ve learned that you can&amp;#39;t jump on a cardio machine and expect to last hours during your first week (duh! I&amp;#39;m just impatient). &amp;#160;I have to build stamina and endurance (duh, Sue)! &amp;#160;It outlines progressive workout plans and I like that because it&amp;#39;s something I can follow daily. &amp;#160;I&amp;#39;m not left wondering what the heck to do everyday! &amp;#160;I started the &amp;quot;Walking to Running&amp;quot; workout plan coupled with the &amp;quot;Total Body Fitness&amp;quot; plan. &amp;#160;I&amp;#39;m going to follow both workout plans in beginner mode in hopes of being able to RUN eventually! &amp;#160;The book says I should see results in 6-8 wks. &amp;#160;Heck, what do I have to lose...besides the weight?!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyway, Dr. Phil says I need to start talking to myself in a more constructive and positive way. &amp;#160;I didn&amp;#39;t realize this but I haven&amp;#39;t been a very &amp;quot;positive&amp;quot; thinker. &amp;#160;He says I have to start setting real and manageable goals..not my &amp;quot;I want to be a size 0 by the end of the year&amp;quot; type goal...I need to think about this more so I&amp;#39;ll post mine tomorrow. &amp;#160;Toodle-ooh!&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&quot;clear:both;&quot;&gt;

&lt;div&gt;6:30PM - tri-tip BBQ with rice &amp;amp; corn (leftovers from Sunday)&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;8PM - didn&amp;#39;t go to the gym but walked Bosko (3 miles)&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;BLEH...slow start but it&amp;#39;s something.&lt;/div&gt;
