Sunday - Went to the gym w/ Dung. 36 minutes on treadmill. Did leg exercises for about 40 mins then worked out abs. It was a very good work out, but wasted it after hanging out at Cyndi's for Mark's bday get together. We had a few drinks, wing stop, and dessert. =(
Monday - Power Yoga for 90 minutes. Eating = all bad!! =(
Tuesday - Rest Day
Wednesday - Ran for 30 mins on the treadmill during lunch. Eating is bad! I went to the Sharks game then went to VBar after w/ co-workers. Had hot dogs, ice cream, cookies... you name it .. it was all bad.
Thursday - Went to the gym with Mari. I went on the elliptical for 33 minutes and treadmill for 20 mins. We worked out our triceps, shoulders, and abs.
Friday - having dinner with Julie and Rhona. Not sure if I'll have time to work out. (Rest Day)
Saturday - Went snowboarding with Courtney
Alright, since my last post on Feb. 13, I've been Taeboing and Running. Eating is still bad, but it's getting better each day. The last I remember are the following:
Last Thursday I finally finished the 2nd Taebo video w/o stopping. It was about 55 minutes long. After Mari and I finished it, we both hopped on the cardio machines in the garage for about 30 mins.
Last Friday was rest day.
Last Saturday Marivic and I took our first 90 minute Hot Yoga class. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be.
THE BEGINNING OF THE HALF MARATHON TRAINING - WEEK 1:
Sunday - I ran on the treadmill for 40 minutes.
Monday - 40 minutes on the treadmill then 10 minutes on the elliptical (I was too tired so I gave up).
Tuesday - 90 minutes Yoga class - it was far more difficult than the Saturday class. We decided to stay on the hotter side of the room and I was directly under the vent w/ the heat steaming on me. I was hella sweating this time. I felt faint, but I survived by controlling my breathing. Julie felt faint and left the room for a little bit. I have a feeling I'm going to be sore on Wednesday.
Wednesday - I ate really good and had control. I had many chances to eat sweets, but I didn't have any. I wasn't able to make it to Yoga, but I ran 2 miles outside. I officially turned my court into a track. One circle is 0.4 miles - I measured the distance by driving in circles. haha The second I started running, I thought to myself, "holy shit, what did I get myself into.... thinking I can run a half marathon!!!" I'm scared, but it's a goal I will try my best to reach.
Thursday - Again, I ate really good. Had my regular meals and snacks in between meals. I went to Power Yoga (90 mins) and it was very hard. Out of the three times I've taken yoga, the power yoga made me sweat the most! The instructor had a hot body and I want my butt to look exactly like hers. It was plump! lol When I got home I ran on the treadmill for 30 mins.
Friday - 40 mins cardio split between treadmill and elliptical. Ate at a Fish and Chips joint on race street for both lunch and dinner. =(
Saturday - Snowboarding. I felt like running after a day of snowboarding b/c I ate a lot during lunch and dinner. I felt really heavy and guilty. I'll have to work extra hard at the gym tomorrow.
Breakfast - nothing
Lunch - Chinese Chicken Salad and 1 BBQ Chicken
Snack - small bowl of cut up fruits
Dinner - half of 1 teriyaki chicken breast with carrots and broccoli and two glasses of orange juice
PM Workout - Taebo - Full Throttle - suppose to do 55 minutes, but only lasted 30 minutes. I popped in the wrong DVD. The full throttle dvd is an advanced work out - I totally was not ready for it and I already feel the soreness coming. sigh.
Since tomorrow is V-day, I am plan to wake up early and run on the treadmill b/c Ben and I are going to watch Kooza (Cirque du Soleil) after work. This will be a test of my dedication to my new healthy lifestyle.
Just a note, I'm proud to say that Mari went to the gym by herself this afternoon then went to Target to buy light weights so she can work out at home as well. haha

Mari was my work out partner for the night. =) She too is trying to live a healthier life. =)

GYM - Elliptical - Weight Loss Program for 33 minutes
Treadmill - Manual - 15 minutes

PM Snack - was going to have an orange but it had mold in it. =(

Exactly last week I started my new years diet. However, my eating habits have not changed. I've been pigging out w/ lots of pasta since Monday (my mom's bday). She cooked enough to last us all week.
Last night was attempt #3 to use the elliptical machine at home. It was a psuedo success. I randomly picked a program and found myself unable to complete the work out. I was DYING and got off after 20 mins. I called it a night! LOL I'm so out of shape that I don't think I'll survive on the slopes this weekend. I'll be resting every 5 minutes hahaha
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Bacon Crispy Chicken Meal at Carl's Jr. This included crisscut fries and sprite. I finished 99% of my meal. I'm not too proud of my lunch choice today. I think the time of the month is approaching soon and is possibly the reason for my cravings.
Dinner: Rotisserie Chicken and a fist full of white rice.
10:30 PM - 30 Mins on the Elliptical Machine. Had Reina not shitted during my last 2 minutes of my work out, I would have gone on the treadmill and ran for a few minutes. The smell was unbearable!
It's a new year and it's time to lose the holiday fat! I've gained way too much since my wedding day! I've been using jackets to hide the weight gain! =)
Ben and I got an exercise bike as one of our wedding presents, but the giver wasn't satisfied w/ the machine so he encouraged us to exchange it. Ben and I traded it for an elliptical machine. There is no reason why I can't reach my goal.
Dung and I have a bet going on.... I have to lose 15 lbs by end of February. Is it possible?!?! We'll see.
Breakfast: Oatmeal (Yes, I'm back to eating the boring oatmeals. Good bye egg omelets and crousant sandwiches.)
Lunch: Organic Spinich & Bacon Salad at Specialty's and a non-sweet chocolate chip cookie (I had to have one!)
Snack: Two Sugar Cookies (each is a size of a quarter. very small.)
Breakfast - Oatmeal
Lunch - Thai food - Spicy Fish with rice
Snack - 5 Pieces of reduced fat wheat thins
Dinner - TBD
As of last Saturday, June 9, I fit perfectly into my wedding dress! =) However, I can not gain any weight or else I'll rip it when I sit down. The goal is to lose another inch everywhere.
